BY-ELECTION MTU Students’ Union – Vice President for Campus Integration (CCAD, CSM, NMCI)
The Vice President for Campus Integration, a full-time paid post, represents and supports students across the relevant Cork campuses (CCAD, CSM, NMCI). They will work with the Union to promote student integration and engagement across campuses.

Who Can Stand for Election for VP Campus Integration?
Any full-time or part-time student who is registered on any MTU Cork campus is eligible to seek election for the position
Candidates must:
- Be a registered full-time or part-time student on a Cork campus (including students who have completed their studies and who will graduate in October 2026);
- Be available to undertake the position on a full-time basis; and
- Not be legally restricted from working in Ireland.
Who can Nominate and Vote for the VP for Campus Integration?
The electorate for this position is limited to Union members who are registered students based at:
- National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI)
- Cork School of Music (CSM)
- Crawford College of Art and Design (CCAD)
Students registered at other Cork campuses may stand for election, provided they meet the eligibility requirements above, but they are not eligible to nominate candidates or vote in this particular election.
Important Information for Candidates
Candidates should ensure that they are available to undertake the duties and responsibilities of the position on a full-time basis and that they have the legal right to work in Ireland for the duration of their term.
Further information regarding the nomination process, candidate requirements, election procedures and voting arrangements will be issued by the Union in accordance with the Constitution and Schedule C.
Nominations open: 8th September 2026 at 9am
Nominations close: 23rd September 2026 at 5pm
Voting: 1st October 2026
